SHARING IS SADAQAH

A good tip a friend gave me once was to put a Sadaqah jar beside your bed and every night before going to bed, put a coin to the value you can afford, in the jar and make dua after it because one of the situations when dua is accepted is after giving sadaqah.

Also Allah SWT likes regularity in performing good deeds however small they might be. So rather than to give a lump sum in Sadaqah couple of times in the year, it’s better to give a little bit daily.

Furthermore if you pass away in your sleep then your last action will be a good deed and you will be raised doing that good deed!

Once the jar is full, then you can donate that total amount from your bank account to a charity and reuse the coins to repeat the process again.

… and if you can get your children into a habit of doing this then there’ll be even more ongoing reward for you!”
